Paul Jove has been a cornerstone of the Bolivian electronic music scene for more than twenty years. From La Paz, he has built a reputation on putting the audience experience first — mindfully selecting across genres, surfing through layers, textures and moods to shape performances that exist only once, in that room, on that night. The goal is always the same: a memorable, healing, joyfully eccentric experience on the dancefloor.
His commitment to the South American community runs deep, with regular influential performances and collaborations with major artists across the continent — and his reach extends far beyond it, with shows and releases through the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia and Oceania, from Sydney to Phu Quoc. His EPs, singles and remixes appear on labels including Frequenza Records, HRBR (Saigon), Bonzai Progressive, Clinique, Free Spirit, Hearec, Holy Grail Music, Nordic Voyage and Nativo — his 2019 “Holy Illusion” EP grew directly out of his years of experiences in Vietnam. At the center of it all sits San Pedro Music, the imprint he owns and runs as a home for his own work and the sounds around him.
His creative range spills past the DJ booth: an audio-visual project for Centro Cultural de España (2020), the “Vacíos” live performance (2020), Larga Noche de Museos (2018), and the “Liberatus” album. And in true multi-tasker fashion, he also owns NamasTe in La Paz — a vegetarian/vegan restaurant rated among the city’s top ten for fourteen years running. Healing moments, on the floor and at the table.
